When is the netball season?

Netball seasons run the same as the Victorian School Curriculum.

Oakleigh South Netball Club runs training sessions only and competition games with
Caulfield District Netball Association (cDNA).

Each year has two netball competition seasons:

Season 1 or Autumn season - February to June

Season 2 or Spring/Summer - July to November

Where is netball held?

Depending on the netball team, training is held at Oakleigh South Primary or Duncan Mackinnon Reserve.

Netball competition games are run at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve, Murrumbeena.

What are the fees?

Season 1 fees are $200 (Term 1 and Term 2) + $73 (2026 Netball Vic insurance - mandatory).
Oakleigh South Netball Club's uniform is compulsory for competition games.

Your Oakleigh South Netball Club registration fees include:

Caulfield District Netball Association's player fee
Caulfield District Netball Association's team fee
Cost of coaches training and game sessions
Cost of coach foundation netball training
Bibs and balls and other training equipment required
First aid kit
Welcome to Club gift (this varies each season)
Netball Club's hoodie member discount
End of Year trophies, medals and meal
Any other reasonable costs that may arise during the season

(If your netballer only wants to participate in training only, training fees with the Club is $103 for season 1, which includes Netball Vic insurance).

Oakleigh South Netball Club is a Get Active Kids Victoria Provider

To redeem your Get Active Kids Victoria voucher of up to $200, register on Netball Connect and enter our Activity Provider code: 3532920. This voucher can be used for netball training, competition and Single Game Vouchers. The voucher cannot be used to purchase uniform or netball ball.

Junior Division U9/U11 (Fri)

Oakleigh South Netball Players who are born between 01/01/15 to 31/12/19 can register through NetballConnect (9/Under or 11/Under division).

Enroll Season 1, 2026 (9/Under or 11/Under)

How to register on Netball Connect

Click on the NetballConnect link. Login using the same NetballConnect username (email) and password that you created when you first registered the netballer to play in a Netball Vic competition.
Pick your child's NetballConnect Profile. Confirm their details.
Pick 'Player Membership - Junior'.
Pick 9/U division for netballers who are turning 8 or 9 years old in 2026 (DOB 01/01/2017-30/04/2019)
Pick 11/U division for netballers who are turning 10 or 11 years old in 2026 (DOB 01/01/2015-31/12/2018)
Complete the form. Then select 'Add Competition and Membership.'
Select 'Sign Up to Competition'.
Under 'What would you like to pay for' select 'Full Competition'.
For players who register before December 7, 2025, the Early Bird discount is automatically applied (ie $190 + $73 VNA + bank transaction fees). Otherwise, normal 2026 season fees apply ($200+$73 VNA + bank transaction fees.
To redeem your Get Active Kids Victoria voucher for eligible families, click +Add Government Voucher on the line in small orange print under 'Discount Voucher'. Enter Oakleigh South Netball Club's Activity Provider code 3532920.
